Natasha is 21 years old and fast becoming a well-known name in Melbourne’s orchestra scene. The eldest of 8 children she began violin at 3 years of age and piano at age 6 and is now a high achiever in both. In 2014 Natasha was the principal 2nd violin player for Melbourne Youth Orchestra and collaborated with the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra on their tour to New Zealand.
Natasha performed in Outer Urban Projects’ first performance – Urban Chamber - Beyond at the Melbourne Recital Centre as part of the 2013 Melbourne International Arts Festival to sell out audiences of over 500. Natasha was violin concertmaster in 2012, 2013 for Vision Australia's Carols by Candlelight conducted by John Foreman. Her past teachers in Violin include William Hennessy, Wilma Smith and Helge Thelen. In piano she previously studied under Julia Breen and currently studying with Rita Reichman. Natasha was a finalist in the 2015 Melbourne Youth Music’s concerto Competition 'Virtuosity'. Natasha Hanna recently performed at Outer Urban Projects’ Poetic License at the Darebin Arts & Entertainment Centre and was invited to perform with the Melbourne Chamber Orchestra for The Vituoso Recorder events at the Deakin Edge in Fed Square and Melbourne Recital Centre. Natasha Hanna is the led artist in the Outer Urban Projects String Quartet.
